This post is a response to Joanjoyce’s Tag Day Sunday #15. For the first time, I was tagged! Ever since I started into make money online blogging, I saw the benefit of getting tagged and pass the tagging gesture to other bloggers in getting better rank statistics and boosting Technorati Authority. This tagging game requires the blogger being tagged to do the same and tag 5 other bloggers to keep the tag chain from breaking. However, I am not pretty sure if the persons I’m tagging would respond the same. I have selected four other fellow bloggistas (or bloggers) whom I think may not have a favorable view on ‘tagging’ (and I hope I am wrong).
And they are: Deimos, Michael, RMO, and HRM Business, and lastly, my other blog, blogRebel (haha, pardon for some shameless self-promotion).
Cut and paste the following starting here.
I have randomly selected 5 of you below to be tagged and I hope that you will similarly publish this post in your blog. You will have to tag 5 other bloggers and just keep adding on to the list. (Do not replace, just keep on adding! Yes we hope it will be a long list!)It’s real easy! Tag others and see your Technorati Authority increase exponentially!
The benefits of Viral Linking:- One of the fastest ways to see your technorati authority explode!- Increase your Google PageRank fast- Attract large volume of new traffic to your site- Build your community- Make new friends!

Oh No! Now I have to play this “game”! lol
Seriously though, is it okay to do it? Will we ever get banned from Technorati/Google from “cheating” like this? *I’m a skeptical person*

Chainletters for blog, LOL
I do share Michael’s concern though. What will Google do if this goes on (too?) long?

Hey, we’re “it.” Just give us time to get some post out of the way. We’re in a series right now and have to post today about the mother of all EC contest initiated by SenseToSave.
@ Michael
There’s nothing in the Google Webmasters Guidelines about viral linking. However, it does consider pages with 100 and more outgoing links as link farms. So we have to check how many links are in there.
Thanks.

[...] we’d like to take this opportunity to pass some viral love that has been thrown our way by Bloggista. Although we don’t actively solicit tags, we can’t say no to a fellow entrecarder. [...]
Thanks for the link love there, but I don’t exactly participate in memes tags and such. -_-
However, I have something coming up, stay tuned.
