Hi Karl, great to see you dropping by! I could see how successful you are in your keywords experiments and posts – you’re receiving a tremendous amount of traffic as reflected in your Alexa Rank.

Good thing you also used Google Analytics, yup I agree, its much more powerful to almost anything about SEO and web analytics.

I’m sorry you couldn’t find anything useful at Karlonia — perhaps you could suggest a topic that you want me to cover. Better yet, you can submit an article through the Contact page and receive a free link back to your site.

The reason my blog seems to be “a bunch of ramblings in no particular order” is that I am targeting a variety of keywords and do not confine myself to narrowly defined niches. I can always create other niche-oriented blogs later if I want to take that route. Otherwise, I generally write about things that I know other people are searching for and that do not already have a surplus of information available on them (that is, too much competition in the search results).

Meanwhile, if you want to find something in particular at Karlonia, the posts are organized into categories which are displayed in the sidebar on the right side of every page. You can also use the custom search bar in the upper right corner if you want to search for something specific.

Thank you for the links — this was a really nice post.

Believe it or not, I’m still doing the Sunday search query posts even though they are not really helping me in terms of traffic (because there are many different topics grouped together on the same page). I finally switched over to Google Analytics for gathering the keywords and other website statistics and am now using a cropped screenshot of the previous week’s traffic stats as the post image. This is handy because it not only saves me time in searching for images but also provides visitors with additional information about my site’s overall traffic.
