Grabe, 40K to 80K per semester? And you still have 2 more years to go?

I don't know but I guess you have to do something. That's a lot of money spent for something - well, not too promising. If you think u will like designing or software development (PHP programming - its easy and there's plenty of opportunity), you may want to spend some extra time learning these stuffs. Or try enrolling in short courses on PHP programming , it won't cost a lot, but in about 6 months you can already start earning some money.

This article is really nice. I'm a second year nursing student and I regret my decision for being a nurse. I'm currently studying at a top notcher school in terms of board passers in hope that this would give me a chance to go abroad. Our second semester is about to start this october and I'm thinking about stopping my studies. One semester of nursing in our school costs 40 up to 80, 000 per semester. And my parents already spent more than 200, 000 for my studies and yes I felt really guilty about it. Dahil na rin sa dami ng nursing student ngayun, pinagsasamantalahan nila at pinagkakakitaan pa. Pinapahirapan pa ang mga estudyante sa bagong curriculum ng ched kesyo giving quality education DAW. My two cousins are graduates of nursing and they are currently working as call centre agents and my brother told me that he forsees what I would become after graduating.
>_<
Sobrang dami na ng nurses ngayon that even my professors in a non- nursing subject advices us to shift courses...
Well, sana i shifted course earlier because I'm already halfway to the diploma.

I hope na mabasa to ng mga fresh graduates na nagbabalak mag nursing,,, Nursing is a high vocation of arts and sciences aiming to serve thy humanity but it requires a lot of sacrifices.

hi..:D i think the govt is doing something bout this ordeal lyk this certain program implemented in DOLE, the "nurse sa brgy" thingy..bt un4tunately the salary is still delayed and many RNs are assigned to far flung areas for months away from their homes.also, its a shame how hospitals these days offer few vacant slots for novice RNs.
despite of these, i dont regret finishing nursing.though im working with low pay (less than 3000 a month with no benefits) i still love my work..as long as people exists nursing will too.so cheer up future RNs.:D

The truth is, we have an oversupply of nurses and relatively less to no demand in domestically. Abroad? thats what every nurses is dreaming and hoping it can come true... Those who persevere do have the chance to live that dream. Persevere through constant waiting and spending more and more only to satisfy that dream.... Perhaps, we now be awaken with what is happening... Opportunities is everywhere...Your "Acres of Diamond" Maybe is just beside you... Nice blog though.

its in reality that we lots of nursing graduates but end within a call center industry and i have lots of them before but after a few weeks they dissappear one by one maybe thinking wasting time and degrading themselves but the main reasons is where theyre going to apply lack of hospital who can hire them.
