Finally, the world has a new Miss Universe for 2008. The Miss Universe pageant is probably one of the very few world events where you can see political differences are set aside - at least for a while.
Ms. Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela, the highly-favored candidate did emerged as the Miss Universe 2008 Winner. She also wins the Special Award on Best in Áo dài.
