Ubuntu really is a “water to clear your throat”…With the expensive cost of other software / OS, it’s appropriate to shift to freewares which cost you nothing. Aside the fact that Ubuntu is free, you are assure of having an armored and dependable Operating System.

@Cyril, based on my observations, Ubuntu is suitable for SME’s. All of the basic things you need in an office processing system to prepare letters, spreadsheets, presentations, database are available FREE, and with so many OpenSource applications available already (CRM, Financials, etc) – people should rethink the way they look at free softwares. As one Digg commenter (of this post said) – it doesnt hurt to try a free system when the ones you are paying fails you… Intelligent remark I should say.

I still get chills to the bones thinking about putting your business on a free system. I’ll be following your exploits with Ubuntu as I am quite interested in using it for some of my ventures too. I hope Ubuntu is as good as I anticipate based on your reviews.
