Angels and Demons Movie Trailer
Two weeks ago while watching the funny movie Madagascar 2 movie, I was so thrilled and ecstatic when a familiar structure was flashed on the big screen -- the Vatican steeple, and the “black smoke” that came out of the window. I shouted “This is it!“, the movie that I have been waiting for -- the big screen adaptation and the “prequel” to the Da Vinci Code all written by Dan Brown -- Angels and Demons.
To those who have read Dan Brown’s bestseller, Angels and Demons, a movie version is certainly something to look forward to. After all, Angels and Demons has all the makings of a great movie. The plot, the action, and tour to the Vatican City makes you think you’re watching a movie by just the reading it.
I rarely read novels -- got to admit I’d rather spend my free time earning passive income than reading novels. But Dan Brown’s only one of the few authors that will make me forget everything and just read his story. I also made sure to read Angels and Demons before reading Da Vinci Code. His other books, Digital Fortress and Deception Point which were not as popular were also my favorites. It took me only 2 days to read each of these novels from cover to cover.
Angels and Demons features Robert Langdon, long before he was searching for clues in the Da Vinci Code. If you have not read it, I suggest you grab a copy and follow Robert Langdon’s adventures as he discovered a “cult” within the Vatican, followed trails of “sacred” murders and discovered secrets of the group, Illuminati, or “freethinkers”.
Meanwhile, enjoy the Angels and Demons movie trailer.

Definitely! But I’m not sure if Deception Point or Digital Fortress will make a good movie though.

hi,
I’m a regular visitor. Somehow your site seems to be getting slower. Maybe its just me or you might want also to check it.

Hi Darksen, thanks for the note. Yep, it is indeed getting slower lately – and my host, Hostmonster is saying they are upgrading their mySql database. But it’s been a few days now, I have already sent them numerous trouble tickets – only to get a disappointing reply that these type of problems could not be avoided in a shared hosting account. Blah Blah…
I am seriously considering getting a VPS or dedicated server that’s reliable…

I also noticed the slowdowns and frequent time-outs lately when accessing your site, maybe caching (WP-SuperCache) would help…

could be the .htaccess file, or folder permissions, try making chmod 777 to your wp-contents folder during setup of the plugin.

I watched Da Vince Code, but I don’t think I’ll be watching this one. I am a not even a book reader, as I had other priorities. However, I am now making it up by reading and subscribing to a lot of useful blogs.
Thanks!

I’m looking forward to the Angels and Demons movie. I’ve read both novels and of the two, I enjoyed A&D the most. I hope the film meets my expectations.

Same here John, personally, I like A&D more than DVC. We’ll see if it will indeed meet the fans’ expectations. But since its Tom Hanks, one could always expect a masterpiece.

I’ve read Angels and Demons years ago. It will be very very interesting how the book gets to be interpreted in the movies. IMO, this book is even better than the more popular Da Vinci Code. This is very very interesting!

I happen to be one of the unlucky people who read The Da Vinci Code before the Langdon prequel, A&D. I think it’s his best book although I haven’t read Digital Fortress yet.
I just hope that the movie will not just be a bastardization of the book.

LOL, I guess you’re sleepy Snow. Or its just that my Hostmonster hosting’s recently monsterized by upgrades it affected all my sites. Grrr.
Back to the topic, I think stories like these are something Catholics should be willing to read – faith should not be affected no matter what others are saying. But if it leads you to ask why – I guess it will lead to even a mature and stronger faith…

Yeah, I was really sleepy when I replied here. Geez, my insomnia is currently killing me nowadays. There was even a time when I’m blogging up to 4am.
Anyway, back to the topic. I agree with you that a strong faith shouldn’t be affected by any movie or anything else. That is actually my guiding principle at the moment.

a friend gave me an audio book for angel’s and demons and the digital fortress. i listened to both. As to A&D, I don’t find it extra ordinary, as I read books in the past which has somewhat similar plot.

Yeah, actually there are many books about the Illuminati, the FreeMasonry etc. It’s just that A&D presented a different way of telling the story about these groups. Maybe its the style of Dan Brown’s writing that made me read his novels.

just like kapatid na bendz, im one of the unlucky people who read DVC first. I love Dan Brown, on my list of mindf*ckers. LOL. I doubt Sisters would allow me to bring a copy of this inside. :p

I don’t think so Anonymous. It’s actually a story about someone who got so passionate about his belief in God/Christ that he went about killing people just to make things right.
And that’s where the problem all started. You better check out the book – its a good read.
