The year 2009 is Year of the Earth Ox from the Chinese astrology perspective. However, the Year of the Earth Ox will commence only come January 27, 2009 based on the Chinese Lunar New Year. The Chinese Lunar New Year is the longest chronological record in history, dating from 2600BC, when the Emperor Huang Ti introduced the first cycle of the zodiac. Like the Western calendar, the Chinese Lunar Calendar is a yearly one, with the start of the lunar year being based on the cycles of the moon. Therefore, because of this cyclical dating, the beginning of the year can fall anywhere bxetween late January and the middle of February. A complete cycle takes 60 years and is made up of five cycles of 12 years each.
The Chinese Lunar Calendar names each of the twelve years after an animal. Legend has it that the Lord Buddha summoned all the animals to come to him before he departed from earth. Only twelve came to bid him farewell and as a reward he named a year after each one in the order they arrived. The Chinese believe the animal ruling the year in which a person is born has a profound influence on personality, saying: “This is the animal that hides in your heart.”

Google Adsense recently announce two “minor” updates regarding its payout via Western Union. Whoooaaaat??? Google Adsense pays through Western Union? LOL! Of course, and every Google Adsense Publisher knows.
How to Change Google Adsense Payout to Western Union Quick Cash?
In case you don’t know, simply go to your Adsense “My Account” tab, and click on “Payment Details - edit“. Choose “Western Union Quick Cash” option and click “Continue” and wait for your next Google Adsense payout through Western Union. Google usually processes payouts starting at the 22nd to the 30th of every month - provided that your previous month’s earnings reaches USD100.00 or more.
The advantage of getting your payments via Western Union is that it’s free (however recently, Western Union is charging Php1.50 for every Php1,000 you get and they said it goes to the Government). And instantly you can claim your earnings in hundreds of Western Union branches all over the Philippines. Just make sure you get your MTCN number, and for added convenience, print the Google Adsense Statement of Earnings.
Now back to the minor Western Union payment updates. As announced, Google just made two:

There’s a new program that Google is cooking for all Adsense Publishers - maximizing revenue on undeveloped Domains with the new feature Adsense For Domains. This new program allows Publishers to put ads on undeveloped or parked Domains, by providing relevant ads, searches and information for visitors who happen to visit the site.
This is great news since ads on these pages convert well - probably because visitors don’t have any other option to get out but through the featured ads and listings. I have a dozen of “undeveloped” domains so I better start preparing those domains.
However, Adsense for Domains is only available to North America publishers at the moment, but Google have promised to extend this product to all publishers worldwide soon. After the jump is the announcement from Google posted at the Inside AdSense group page.
