2008 Olympics Results and Games Updates. Due to so many things to do at my new office, I have only a few minutes browsing to the stats and some blog posts and had not much time doing my own optimisation. But still Google and Yahoo did brought in some favorable traffic on Olympics and I am very happy with that already.

However, there are some Olympics events I couldn’t afford to miss watching – and today I was lucky enough to be just at home and was glued to the TV Coverage on RPN-9 / CS Sports channel on the two events I was hoping I could catch on.

First I learned that the US Women’s Basketball Team won their 4th consecutive Olympics Gold.

In the morning I was watching the debut of the BMX Race in the Olympics. My favorites Maris Stromberg of Latvia and Mike Day of USA won the Gold and Silver Medals respectively on the Men Division. Donny Robinson of the US came in third for the Bronze Medal. I used to do some BMX ride tricks when I was young and a faster so seeing BMX Racing becoming an Olympic Event is something worthy to watch.

A little bit of disappointment though for the BMX Women’s Division when my personal favorite, the pretty and stunning Sarah Walker finished 4th place. You can check out Sarah Walker’s photos at Bloggista.org.

On the other hand, the 2004 Olympics Gold Medalist for Men’s Basketball, Argentina, grabbed the Bronze after winning over Team Lithuania, 87-75. Meanwhile, the US Basketball “Redeem Team” finally redeemed its basketball glory when it routed Pau Gasol’s Spanish armada on hardcourt, 118-107 during the 2008 Olympics Men’s Basketball Finals in Beijing where an attendance of more than 11,000 mostly Kobe Bryant and Team US fans witnessed the event. For games details and quarter scores, check out the 2008 Olympics Men’s Basketball Finals Results on Bloggista.org.

Tonight at 8PM, RPN9/ CS Sports will telecast the 2008 Olympics Closing Ceremonies in Beijing Live (hopefully, Live and not too much commercials). I am checking out the fireworks. You can also check Bloggista.org for the 2008 Olympics Closing Ceremonies Live Streaming and Coverage Links.
