money dollarsign 250x250 Blog Marketing Experiment: Make Money with Bloggista.comHowever, this is not your usual make money affiliate program for products designed to earn commissions on several levels, commonly known as Multi-level Marketing (MLM). I do have several internet marketing and MLM online business memberships designed to earn passive income – but this one’s quite different.

I am talking about a real Product that I am currently actively promoting. The concept is not new, however, its existence is not yet so popular especially in the Philippines. Critics and competition are saying it will face big challenges in terms of market acceptance – however, they themselves have slowly embraced the concept and introduced similar initiatives.

I am talking about Software as A Service or SaaS. It is similar to what others called “cloud computing” but differs in some ways. SaaS is about on-demand software – you pay per use. Clients pay a subscription (usually monthly) to use the software. Software is hosted, accessible via the internet, thus Clients only need to invest on a PC and good internet connection.

Unlike traditional Software Vendors, Clients don’t need to pay software licenses and annual maintenance, they don’t need to purchase hardwares/servers to host the software application. This means there’s no need to put a server room, with aircon and power generators. No need to put up a huge IT organization and support staff to run the software. To put it simply, Companies even the small ones can NOW use business softwares that used to cost millions of pesos – where big and multinational companies can only afford to invest.

Let’s make a simple business case for comparison. Let’s say a business is a small-time furniture maker. The business needs a software or “system” to put up a website so Clients can see the designs, and let Customers make their Orders online. Then the orders go to Inventory – where the software checks if there are available inventory to fulfill the order. If stocks are available, then the system allocates it to the Customer Order, reserve it say, on a first order, first served basis, then processes the Order for delivery. It then generates all the required reports so that stocks are picked, and marked for specific Customers. Once the Order processing is complete, the system generates delivery documents and Invoice.

When the Customer receives the shipment, it can then send full payments (or they may opt to pre-pay). The system then processes the payments, matches it against Customer Invoices and updates the Customer receivables record, and updates the Cash Ledger.

In cases where stocks are insufficient (or no stock at all), the system can generate a demand Order for Production. The system checks for all materials required to assemble the products, and generates purchase requisitions/orders to advise Suppliers of the material requirements. When all materials are received into the Warehouse, production can start until all required number of products are produced/assembled.

The Delivery department are then notified of the available assembled products. Quality can also be checked to ensure products are at par with the Customer’s quality preferences. Costs and expenses that were incurred in the assembly of the products are calculated and determined. Then the Order can be fulfilled using the process above. All these transactions are automatically posted to the Company’s Financial books, in the General Ledger.

Do you know how much it costs to acquire a system that will do all those processes mentioned? A lot. Millions, tens of millions of pesos. Business softwares like Oracle, SAP and Microsoft are popular choices for those who can afford. There are other options, but they may lack the functionalities and reliability.

Now what’s the option for small to medium sized (SME) businesses? Not so much. Often, they get stuck in cheap softwares with cheap support and in most cases – a non-functioning software. This is were SaaS can help – and particularly the LAMP Enterprise ERP.

LAMP Enterprise ERP is a complete business software that supports all business processes of a Company. It has complete Financials modules, Inventory, Purchasing, Web Ordering, Sales Management, Planning, Production and Costing, HR & Payroll, Services and many more.

Now how will Bloggers make money from this? Simple – you help Bloggista.com create awareness of SaaS in the Philippines, with its flagship product LAMP Enterprise ERP. If you run a business or finance blog, or a marketing blog, or if you are familiar with business softwares – and want to act as a Marketer of LAMP Enterprise, contact Bloggista.com.

What’s in store? You place a banner and a link on your blog or website – and optionally, you can put some articles to promote the product, and any referral you make that eventually become an Account – Bloggista.com will pay you USD300 to USD500 dollars for the referral. Sounds a tough sell, but consider it as a way for you to add some real revenue streams in your monetization efforts, without the risks of being penalized by SERP’s.

You will be given access to our CRM Software so you can track all your referrals. And what will make the Leads put your referral name on their application/inquiry? Because by doing so, they will get 10% discount of the products and services.

Contact Bloggista.com and state your interest on this Blog Marketing Experiment project. Make sure to subscribe to Bloggista.com and ERPBiz RSS Feeds for latest news and updates on this program.

You can also fill up the following form. If you are interested to learn more about ERPBiz and LAMP Enterprise ERP, visit the ERPBiz website. There will also be a gathering soon for everyone interested in learning more about the product and effectively market it in their own blogs.

    • bloggista on November 9, 2008 at 8:44 pm

Hello tol, Thanks! I’d like to see how this prosper. Basically, its like giving every interested blogger a part-time job to market the product.

Come to think of it – for a starting investment of just P5,000.00 a month, the Client will have all the things he needs – Financials, Inventory, Purchasing, Production, HR and Payroll, Services, WEb Ordering, everything.

I am very confident there’s a huge market for this product here in the Philippines. You can check out http://www.erpbiz.net to know more about the product. We also posted a story there about a Company who switched to LAMP Enterprise ERP – all completed in less than a month. :-)

Hello bro, that’s great. In fact, this one is just a referral program. But I do have a better package for those who also want to do an extra mile – part-time marketing of sorts.

      Let’s get in touch soon.

  9. archondigital on November 10, 2008 at 10:35 am

We are on the same page on this. I am also working on a CRM using the SaaS model on cloud servers and integrating open source software like vTiger with other financial applications.

Sabi ko na nga eh, kaya pala lagi swak mga posts mo sa inaatupag ko kasi pareho tayo ng mga project. Pero di naman magkikita market natin kasi Middle East and UK ang concentration ng project namin and conventional lang ang marketing.

I hope you corner the market locally and I’d be interested to help if needed, help generate awareness sa local industry, exchange of ideas, best practices, etc…

Hey Metz, I’m pretty sure one thing or another you’ll find this one interesting. Either you use the system yourself, or include it in your services. I know some people who are into business consulting and are interested in adding this service to their clients.

Some BPO companies as well find the system useful to their operations. You may want to look at the Payroll module – it can even handle Payroll BPO services. :-)

Ok, I must admit I feel psyched for your. I’m not really well versed with the whole technical aspect of cloud computing but I read an article of this once upon a time and I believe this is a profitable idea.

I’m not sure if papatok to sa dito sa Pinas, though.

How I envy you and Archon for getting a degree in the IT field. I really wish I pursued that field when I was younger. Too late for regrets.
