Well, if Anna Kournikova joined Miss World 2008, we’d still have a Russian Miss World for 2008. Hehehe.

Yup, another Russian babe wins! She is the 2nd Miss World from that country. Their first Miss World was in 1992, Julia Alexandrovna Kourotchkina.

Hi B! :) Everything is a little bit ok at the moment. I’m still quite sick but I’m alright. :D

Yeah, Miss Mexico (Anagabriella Espinoza) was my bet too. I was really shocked why she didn’t make the final 5. I really thought that the crown is already in the bag for Miss Mexico. :(

One of the shocker of my pageant observing too was the exclusion of Miss Philippines, Danielle Castano. She was one of the girls who are deserving to be included in the Top 15. Oh well, it’s Julia Morley’s pageant. :(

Yeah, I think Danielle is one of the better ladies to at least included in the Top 5… And hmm, who’s Julia Morley by the way; Hehehe, clueless ako. :-)

        • Snow on December 18, 2008 at 12:44 pm

Julia Morley is the owner of the Miss World Pageant. She inherited it from his husband Eric Morley. Actually, there was this theory that no Filipina will ever win the pageant because Evangeline Pascual did not accept it when the 1973 winner resigned as she was found out to have a child out of wedlock(Miss World 1973-Marjorie Wallace, Pascual was 1st ru) ;)
