contact me 184x250 Quick Blogging Tip: Put A Contact Form If you are serious with your blogging, make sure visitors and interested people can contact you easily for things like inquiries, link exchanges (if you entertain link exchanges), concerns (site errors, bugs, grammar/spelling corrections), and most of all advertising and revenue opportunities!

Contact Form is the best way to encourage interested people to contact you – for whatever purpose. A Contact Form usually have few fields to fill-up and is more convenient to use for most people. And most Contact Forms have built-in anti-spam filters to minimize spam submission.

Email link is alright, however, spammers could easily harvest emails on blogs and websites. Also, it takes more efforts to prepare an email just to contact a blog or site owner/admin.

Most blogging platforms have Contact Form plugins. If you are blogging using WordPress, there are a lot of plugins to choose from. Bloggista.com is using cFormsII for its Contact Form. cFormsII is flexible, highly customizable and offers lots of features, including auto-respond to submissions, Spam filters, forms styling options and it stores the submitted forms in a database.

The downside is, setup is a bit complex compared to other Contact Forms, but once you configured your form, you can easily copy it if you want to create another form. You can also download your Form and use it on your other blogs.

Another Contact Form that’s easy to setup is WP-Spamfree Contact Form. If you are using WP-Spamfree to weed out spam comments in your blog, it also has a built-in Contact Form that is ready to use. The downside, however, is that while WP-Spamfree reduces the incidence of getting spam comments, it may also reduce or even block valid Trackbacks.

Whatever plugin you use, bottomline is, put a Contact Form on your blog. You can put it in your ‘About’ page, or better yet, create a ‘Contact’ Page so people can easily spot it.

Comment spam has been a huge problem for bloggers since the inception of blogs, and it just doesn’t seem to go away. The worst kind, and most prolific, is automated spam that comes from bots. Well, finally there is an anti-spam plugin for WordPress that provides an effective solution, without CAPTCHA’s, challenge questions, or other inconvenience to site visitors

    Be ware of using emailmeform!!!

One of emailmeform owners, James Salganov, is a dishonest person. He purchased the website from Alexandru Marias, and sold it to Harrison Hung, without paying the money he was to pay to Alexandru Marias.
The conflict between James Salganov ( past owner ) and Alexandru Marias ( developer of the service who has not been paid ) might affect the site badly, as there is a bigh trust issue in the middle

We are happy to announce a new management team at EmailMeForm.com!

EmailMeForm™ has long been a valued service that allows anybody to create functional web forms on any website. Unfortunately, the previous management had not invested in continual improvement to the EmailMeForm™ service throughout 2009. The lack of a solid working relationship between the past owner and the former head developer lead to a cold war that eventually forced the sale of the site to our dedicated hands.

Not surprisingly, the relationship problems continue to spill over even after the service has already been transferred over to new hands. The new management cannot heal these old wounds. We are already pulling long hours to take EmailMeForm™ to the next level. Most of these improvements are not readily apparent to you as we are working on renovating the foundations of the EMF house.

Regarding privacy issues and your form data: EMF will never abuse or sell this information to Third Parties. The previous owners, who may have copies of the database, are legally liable if this information is inappropriately used. Should an infraction occur, you can be assured that EmailMeForm™ will work toward a resolution.

For more information please visit us at http://www.emailmeform.com/#rogue

Happy Holidays and looking forward to 2010,

    EmailMeForm™ Team
