lamp launch 400x250 250x156 The LAMP Enterprise SaaS ERP Philippine Launch register nowThis is what’s keeping me busy lately. On June 18, 2009, the first complete SaaS ERP (Software as a Service Enterprise Resource Planning) and locally developed in the Philippines will be officially launched with a grand event at the Renaissance Hotel in Makati.

Impart Solutions, Inc., the company behind the revolutionary LAMP Enterprise ERP business software, together with Computer World Philippines and Media G8way, the event organizer, will formally introduce LAMP Enterprise ERP in the Philippines (though it has been developed and implemented in several companies in the last 5 years).

Dubbed as “IT-enabling Philippine Businesses at a Time of Crisis: LAMP – the Light at the End of the Tunnel“, the event aims to gather business leaders in various industries of the country and present to them an efficient, feature-rich and complete Enterprise business solutions alternative to traditional ERP softwares (Oracle, SAP). LAMP Enterprise ERP can significantly cut the costs of implementing and maintaining a reliable ERP system of up to 60%.

LAMP Enterprise ERP is a complete suite of Financials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Human Resources, Payroll, Services, Web Ordering and many other modules all for a low monthly subscription – even less than what you pay for a programmer’s monthly salary.

Clients don’t need to buy costly servers, or maintain a large group of IT personnel. There is no need to spend money on software licenses, and pay more on annual maintenance and software upgrades.

The applications are hosted securely in huge data centers in the U.S. with redundant servers in different locations ensuring reliable uptime and data security. Clients only need an internet connection and a browser to use it.

There you are finally.. I wish you all the best kuya on the full blast implementation of Saas in the Philippines.. Although it’s already implemented years back here, hopefully it will have a massive following after the big launch..

There are lots of SaaS offerings already – but these are limited applications, just like email, backup, CRM and a few financials. Hopefully with LAMP Enterprise ERP, we should be able to cover a wider market since it can support any type of business – automotive, manufacturing, shops, franchises, bottlers, restos, fast food chains, etc. And we target the SME’s – those who can’t afford traditional ERP softwares like Oracle, SAP and Microsoft.

congrats with your project sir..im not an IT people but this is a great project venture of implementing Saas in the Philippines

    • bloggista on June 8, 2009 at 4:40 pm

Thanks for the visit, Chris. Seems like you have one awesome blog in there. Hehe. Yeah, hopefully, we should be able to educate the business owners, esp those in the SME segment and make them understand the benefits of implementing SaaS ERP rather than investing a lot of money in tradition ERPs – which are normally costing in millions of pesos for licenses, they pay annual maintenance, and upgrades, and invest in servers, etc. With LAMP Enterprise ERP, all they need is just to pay for a small monthly subscription.

Multiple clients/users share the applications and infrastructure, that is why its driving costs down. They say, why buy a cow when you only need its milk? :-)
