UFC 85 BedlamWhat are the things that a Blogger and a UFC Fighter have in common? Its probably determination and the will to pursue a dream – making it big someday.

As I write this post, I felt a fellow Filipino’s frustrations and loss in getting a title shot at the UFC Heavyweights Championship. The Filipino fighter, Brandon Vera (The “Truth”) lost by TKO going into 4 minutes and 40 seconds on the first round. He was fighting against Fabricio Werdum (“Vai Cavalo”) of Brazil at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 85 | Bedlam in London.

Nevertheless, making it with the UFC is already a big thing for Brandon Vera, and the whole country supports him the way we support Manny Pacquiao. We all hope he gets his dream someday. Just don’t give up, train well, and try it out again next time.

So few Filipinos are supporting this guy. Probably he’s tougher than Pacquiao.

I saw him fight. I can say he is really a good fighter. Maybe it’s not his time to get the title. All I can say, don’t loose hope Brandon. There’s too many chance to get it.
