As I was blog hopping to find some real nice blogs, I saw this post from Karlo over at Pinoyblogero.com regarding the new Terms of Service of Google AdSense. I received my PIN the other week, though I took time to read the new TOS, I didn’t noticed the new terms, maybe because I was not really paying attention much on the details.

Google new TOSAdmittedly, I don’t know anything about this stuff, and how to prepare it. Keeping in check with the Privacy Policy requirements, I made some draft for myself. The new Privacy Policy, as Google stated in its TOS, should inform visitors of the site about data collection, what types of personal information are collected, how they are collected, and how are these information being used by the site.

The Privacy Policy should also clearly state how the visitor can opt not to have his/her information collected (i.e. cookie management, web beacons, etc.)

There is actually a site that can help to generate your own Privacy Policy, however, I found it a bit hard to use, and some are not relevant.

Thus I decided to draft my own - perhaps some of you guys may copy mine and suggest more useful inputs to make it look better.

Check out my new Privacy Policy page. One thing I noticed, immediately after I created the page, good Uncle Google spent 20 minutes on my new Privacy Policy page. That was very, hmmm, interesting.

It was frustrating for sometime since I started blogging last January. I just can’t embed some HTML codes and any javascript code in my WordPress blog. Somehow, the codes get distorted whenever I click on Publish button.

When Bloggista.com started accepting free blog hosting, the only valuable plugin I installed to allow embedding videos is the YouTube plugin from Gecko. It was cool, and one of Bloggista.com’s valued blogger, Mosaico, has been using the plugin with ease.

But Mosaico, who seemed to have been cookin’ some real nice blog, wanted to embed more videos aside from YouTube. Fortunately, I came across this very simple plugin - EmbedIt. It allows embedding of HTML and any javascript code on the fly, utilizing the built in Custom Code in WordPress.

To make it work, just the follow these simple steps:

Did you hear your CPU fan squealing and your computer suddenly becomes so sluggish? Perhaps some malware or spyware is running - but if you have a good firewall and still experiencing this, probably it’s your Windows that’s trying to kill your Windows system after all.

I stumbled upon this very informative piece of tips from the editors at Download.com. At times when you need to do something and your Windows system started to behave ‘normally’ - meaning, something’s weird is going on - check your Task Manager ( I usually just use the ALT+ CTL + DEL combo) and check which processes is killing your CPU. Assuming you got a clean system - no spyware/malware are running, check out svchost.exe and probably you will see several of these processes running at the same time.

Currently, Bloggista.com is working on allowing all bloggistas to upload photos and images, including videos directly into their posts using the ‘UPLOAD” function. This is still currently in progress.

In the meantime, it is strongly recommended that you use an external photo/image gallery as the source of your photos/images so that your blog space won’t eat so much valuable space for your posts. Below are some of the popular photo/image gallery available:

  • > Flickr
  • > Facebook
  • > Or , you can register a FREE account at myPhotos and upload all your photos/images there. With myPhotos, you can:
